Made by our very own owner and Wine Director, the 2019 Chardonnay is a great value and our best vintage to date. Made from grapes grown in the far west side of Paso Robles were the days are hot and the vineyards are cooled in the evening by marine air flowing in through the Templeton Gap. This unique micro climate allows the grapes to fully mature while retaining enough acidity to keep the finished wine nice and balanced.

The wine was 100% barrel fermented, with only half the wine going through malolactic fermentation to retain its natural acidity. It was then aged for 11 months in 2 French oak barrels. One barrel was new and the other was used twice before.

This wine shows a pretty nose of apple, pear and hints of tropical fruit. On the pallet it has flavors of stone fruits with hints of pineapple and toasted oak, is rich yet well balanced with a long clean finish. We hope you enjoy it!
